RSS Powai Branch Illuminates Deendayal Upadhyay Garden with 3,000 Diyas

The Powai branch of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) once again celebrated the spirit of light and unity by illuminating the Deendayal Upadhyay Garden in Hiranandani Complex with thousands of diyas. Continuing a tradition that began three years ago, the swayamsevaks gathered to brighten the evening with the warm glow of over 3,000 diyas.

This year, around 30 to 35 swayamsevaks came together to arrange and light the diyas across the garden, creating a mesmerizing display of devotion and togetherness. Hundreds of citizens visited the garden to witness the spectacle and enjoy the festive ambiance. The event concluded with a collective aarti, followed by the distribution of prasad to all attendees.

The initiative reflected the RSS’s commitment to fostering cultural values, community participation, and environmental harmony. Over the years, the event has become a symbolic gesture of collective effort and dedication, uniting people of Powai in celebration of tradition and service.
