Swami Vivekanand Run 2026: Powai-Chandivali branch to host pre-launch event on August 22

The Powai-Chandivali branch of Bharat Vikas Parishad will host the pre-launch of the 14th edition of the Swami Vivekanand Run – Run for Cause on Saturday, August 22, in Powai.
The pre-launch event will be held from 4.30 pm to 6.30 pm at Crest Banquet, Ventura Building, Hiranandani Gardens, Powai, above Main Land China Restaurant. The event is being organised to create awareness about the upcoming run and its larger message of promoting a healthier and more patriotic community.
Organisers said the evening will focus on “Vision, Purpose & Impact”, highlighting the importance of fitness, community participation and social responsibility. Snacks will also be served during the event, along with updates about the upcoming edition of the run.
The Swami Vivekanand Run is being positioned as a run for a cause and also serves as a qualifier for major half marathons in India. The event is expected to bring together fitness enthusiasts, families, runners and community members from Powai, Chandivali and neighbouring areas.
The organisers have invited residents and running enthusiasts to attend the pre-launch and learn more about the initiative.
