Kendriya Vidyalaya IIT Bombay, Powai, hosted an impactful and educational session on cervical cancer awareness, conducted by Major Piyush and Major Nitin from the National Security Guard (NSG). The initiative aimed to educate students about preventive health practices, highlighting the importance of regular medical checkups and the protective role of the HPV vaccination in reducing the risk of cervical cancer.

 


During the session, the officers emphasized that awareness and early diagnosis are key in combating the disease. They shared valuable insights on how lifestyle choices, timely medical consultations, and vaccination can significantly contribute to maintaining long-term health. The interactive nature of the session encouraged students to ask questions and actively participate, ensuring the message reached them effectively.
